Information for Interpreters

The Australian COVID-19 Vaccination Rollout is underway.

Based on the Commonwealth Department of Heath’s Vaccine Eligibility Checker, it is our understanding that interpreters who work in Healthcare, Aged Care or Disability Services are eligible to make an appointment to receive the COVID-19 Vaccination under Phase 1B (current phase).

You will need to provide proof of occupation to demonstrate your eligibility before you received the vaccination. This can be any ONE of the following –

The COVID-19 vaccine is free for everyone in Australia. Vaccination providers cannot charge you for the COVID-19 vaccines or your appointment to receive the vaccine.
