Stage 4 ‘Stay at Home’ Restrictions – Victoria

Last update: 7 August 2020, 12PM AEST

Under the current Victorian Stage 4 ‘Stay at Home’ Restrictions, the default is that workplaces in Metropolitan Melbourne are closed unless the workplace is part of a permitted industry as set out by DHHS.

Some workplaces that fall under the permitted industries will remain open. These workplaces include Public and Private Hospitals, Services Australia (Centrelink & Medicare) and Victoria Police Stations.

What does this mean for Interpreters who have been allocated onsite (face to face) bookings for All Graduates?

All interpreters who travel to a permitted workplace (E.g. Hospital, Centrelink or a Police Station) must be issued with a Permitted Worker Permit and must be signed by both the employer (All Graduates) and the employee (interpreter) for it to be effective.

If you do not have a Permitted Worker Permit for each and every booking you are NOT PERMITTED to attend to any onsite bookings in the metropolitan Melbourne areas.

Please feel free to contact one of our friendly team members on (03) 9605 3000 or by email: helpdesk@allgraduates.com.au should you have any further queries or concerns.

Kind Regards,
